Istiqomah: Atomic Habit
A daily worship tracker combining prayer schedules, qibla direction, Quran, and the Hijri calendar with atomic-habit principles — 100% on-device, no accounts and no server.
Problem
Most worship-tracking apps require an account, send data to a server, and are cluttered with ads — when what people actually need is a simple way to start a consistent daily worship habit.
Solution
Built a native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) app with a daily worship checklist, accurate prayer schedules (GPS/city), a qibla compass, a 114-chapter digital Quran with translations, an Islamic/Gregorian calendar with fasting-day markers, and streaks/heatmaps for progress — all data stored locally on-device, with no accounts, server, ads, or trackers.
Istiqomah is built around the atomic-habits approach: start small, track effortlessly, watch progress grow. Privacy is the core design constraint — there’s no login flow and no data ever leaves the device.
