Privacy Policy — Rocket Maths
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Rocket Maths Android game (com.gookkis.math), developed and published by Heri Kiswanto ("we"). It explains what data is processed while you play, by whom, and what choices you have.
Quick summary
- The game does not collect any personal data on our servers. We don't have servers.
- There is no account, no sign-in, no online leaderboard and nothing to buy. Coins are earned only by playing.
- Your scores, coins, rockets, trophies and settings are stored only on your device. The game itself never needs a connection.
- The game shows ads through Google AdMob, which as a third party may collect certain data (see below).
- After a few games it may ask for a review through Google Play In-App Review, which Google Play handles entirely.
- Apart from that, there is no analytics SDK, crash reporter, tracker or other third-party service in the game.
Data we collect
None. We do not request, collect, store, transmit or sell your personal data — including your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or the list of apps on your device. The game has no backend, no database and no usage reporting to us.
The game's only network traffic is for Google's ad consent form, for loading ads, and for the Google Play review card. Answering questions, scoring, coins, the Hangar and trophies all work without a connection.
Data stored on your device
To work, the game keeps a small amount of data in your device's internal storage:
- player progress: XP, coins, games played, total correct answers, best combo, and the best score for each mode and difficulty;
- the trophies you have unlocked, the rockets you own and the one you have equipped;
- the last day you played, your daily streak, and the last day you claimed the daily reward;
- preferences: sound, vibration, the last mode and difficulty, and the language you picked inside the game;
- a flag recording whether the game has already asked for a review, so it never asks twice.
The game stores no name, photo or anything else that identifies you; the player profile is only numbers and in-game choices.
This data:
- is never sent to us or anyone else;
- is included in your Google account's Android Backup, and in device-to-device transfers, if backup is turned on for your device — so your progress survives a new phone. That backup is managed by Google and only your account can access it;
- is deleted completely when you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
Third-party advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and funded by ads served through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, Google as a third-party provider may collect and process data from your device, including:
- the Advertising ID (AAID), an ad identifier you can reset at any time;
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
- device information such as model, operating system version, language and network operator;
- ad interactions such as which ads were shown, viewed or tapped.
This data is collected directly by Google, not by us, and is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. More detail is available in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. The ads SDK never receives your scores or progress. The game shows a banner on the Home and result screens — never during a flight — and at most one full-screen ad every three games and 90 seconds, only when you leave the result screen.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before the ads SDK starts. Your choice there decides whether Google may serve personalised ads, and you can change it again from the "Ad privacy choices" row on the game's Settings screen.
The game also offers rewarded ads: revive once in a Classic flight, double the coins from a flight, or double the daily reward. Watching one is always your choice — no feature is locked behind it.
In-app review (Google Play)
After your third game, the game asks Google Play once to show its review card. The card belongs to Google Play: Google decides whether it appears, and any review you write goes straight to Google Play under Google's privacy policy. The game never learns your review, your rating or whether you wrote one.
Sharing a score
The Share button opens Android's share sheet with a line of text containing your score and the Google Play link. You choose where it goes; the game sends nothing by itself.
App permissions
Permissions the game requests directly:
android.permission.INTERNET— loading the consent form, ads and the Google Play review card.android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— checking whether a connection is available before loading ads.com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID— accessing the Advertising ID for advertising.
These are added automatically by Google's ads SDK and are used only by that SDK:
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS— Android's Privacy Sandbox ad APIs on Android 13 and later.android.permission.WAKE_LOCKandandroid.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE— for the SDK's own background work. The game itself runs no background service and shows no notifications.
The game does not request storage, camera, microphone, location, contacts or notification permissions. Vibration uses the screen's built-in haptic feedback and needs no extra permission.
Your choices
- Change your ad consent. Users in Europe, the UK and Switzerland can reopen the consent form from Settings › Ad privacy choices inside the game.
- Opt out of personalised ads. Open Settings › Google › Ads on your Android device and turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalisation", or delete the Advertising ID. Ads still appear but are no longer personalised.
- Reset your Advertising ID. From the same menu you can reset the ad identifier at any time.
- Play offline. The whole game works without a connection. Offline, no ads are loaded.
- Sound and vibration. Turn each on or off in the game's Settings.
- Delete all your data. Because everything is stored locally, clearing the app's data (Settings › Apps › Rocket Maths › Storage › Clear data) or uninstalling the game permanently erases all progress and settings. No copy remains with us, because we never received one. An Android Backup in your Google account can be deleted from Google's backup settings.
Children's privacy
The game is for a general audience aged 13 and up and is not directed at children under 13. It is not enrolled in Google Play's Families programme. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal data, please contact us at the address below.
Security
All connections to Google, the ad network and Google Play use HTTPS. Because the game sends no progress or personal data to any server, there is no copy of your data on our side that could leak. Your data lives in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time, for example when a feature or a third-party service changes. The latest version is always published on this page with a new update date.
